You wouldnt believe me when i tell you where i’ve been shopping for my beauty stuffs these days. Hubby’s suddenly into ayurvedic stuffs and dragged me to the Indian shops, lol. Anyway, i found a lot of nice soap bars there. Bought myself a whitening papaya soap and also a scrub bar. Both vegetarian formulas. I didnt see any chemical ingredients listed on the label. Let me see if they are good or not. Will come up with a review on both products later on.
Now, i’m going to give the Celebrity Sexy Teeth Whitener a try this time since so many of my friends are showing off their fangs to me. They all say it only take a maximum of 14 days to see 8 shades lighter. I was skeptical at first but decided to try it out after i saw what the Celebrity Sexy Teeth Whitener did to Sharon’s nicotine-stained teeth. She’s used many over-the-counter teeth whitening products before and each time, she screams that they just cant do the job at all.
I did ask her to stop smoking but she says she’d rather die, lol. Well, it’s not my health anyway, why bother. I only want to have a perfect set of white teeth at the end of the day. 14 days right, i can survive. I dont care if i dont get 8 shades lighter. As long as the Celebrity Sexy Teeth Whitener delivers what it promises, i’m happy. I miss drinking coffee as i’m really scared it’s going to turn my teeth yellow. My SIL’s teeth looks dreadful as she’s a chronic coffee-drinker.
Maybe once mine turns white, i’ll get her to try the Celebrity Sexy Teeth Whitener out too. My beautician told me that a set of white teeth can take at least 10 years off my age. WUAHHHH!!! 10 years, you know. Of all the serums and potions she applied on me, i’ve never heard her claim that it can take 10 years off me, LOL. So, that means i can stop visiting her after using Celebrity Sexy Teeth Whitener?
So, i finally went and dyed my hair yesterday. I dont like it at all. I dont have the time to go to my regular stylist. Not that i care anyway since i hardly ever leave the house to meet anyone. All i do is go to either Parkson or Jusco, LMAO. It’s in a sickening shade of red and i need to apply oil to it to make it shine. If not, it’ll look fugly fugly fugly. I’ll have to go back to my regular stylist after Chinese New Year. I want a new hairdo. Yes, i WANT A COMPLETE MAKEOVER.
My fingernails are in a deplorable state. And when i say they are deplorable, go imagine dry cuticles and also brittle nails. Blekkkk…. i hate my fingernails now. It’s all due to me sitting in an air-conditioned room 24/7 for the past year and a half. The neglect on my hands have also rendered my fingerprints almost unreadable even at the banks. Yeah… that’s how dry my hands are. The skin on the back of my hands looks cracked and have lots of deep lines too. Not a pretty sight. Each time i walk past a jewelry shop, i dare not walk in and try on anything as i’m embarrassed by how my hands look. How to try on that beautiful Solitaire diamond ring with such ugly hands, you tell me. Moreover, i love to knit too and i hate it when people stare at me working on my pieces. Sigh…. i guess they must be thinking the same thing i have in my mind.
I went to Jaya Jusco Kinta City this evening and bought myself a tub of Almond Oil Hand Rescue Treatment from The Body Shop. As for my fingernails, the sales girl recommended their latest product called the Almond Oil Nail & Cuticle Treatment. I tested it at the store and liked it immediately. Now, all i have to do is to massage the Almond Oil Hand Rescue Treatment into my poor dry hands religiously and pray for the best. Same goes to the the Almond Oil Nail & Cuticle Treatment. If all goes well, i’ll get something for my feet too next time. I havent shopped at The Body Shop for a long long time. I’m surprised they now have so many new things. I’m going to try them out one by one once my own supplies run out. I have two other items, but that, i’ll leave for another post for another day, lol.
I tested my patience and waited out the two month period my hairdresser specified. Okay, he wins. He’s soooo right. It realy can last two months. I’m so gonna pay him a visit this Friday. Then, it’s time i do something about my face. I need masks, and lots and lots of hydrating masks
Gonna scour those cosmetics counters and see what’s their latest products. I cant be looking like drab with a nice haircut, right. My hormones must’ve have screwed up due to my lack of sleep for the whole of this year. Damn…. i’m sprouting zits. Something that’s never plagued me before and i dont like it.
Meanwhile, it’s Renova to the rescue. I’ve no problem with that since i dont leave my house, lol. Anyone uses Renova here. It’s one of the best kept secrets for wrinkle-free skin. Not to mention on of the most economical too ![]()
It’s been more than a month since i cut my long tresses way. The red dye has almost faded to a coppery orange with only a hint of red remaining. My hair has grown longer though the shape is still there. There goes to show how important it is to go to a hairdresser that has the skill to deliver a great cut. And there’s no shortage of good hairdressers in Ipoh
I go to Silk Cut, owned by Danny. I’ve known him for more than 15 years. He was rather surprised that i requested that he chop everything away as most ladies prefer to do it slowly. But what he doesnt know is i love the impact it does to my image. I love it real short now. It’s time to go back for a trim or maybe for a change of hair color.
Let’s just see what he has in mind for me. I prefer to let him have a free run when it comes to hairdo. It’s what he does best and also what i’m paying him to do. Do you allow your hairdresser to do the same to yours? Oh, be daring and let his have a free run. You just may like what he has in mind, you know. It’s only hair, for god’s sake. They’ll grow back.
I finally bugged hubby to send me to the salon. Dont care. He has to keep an eye on both kids, i dont care how he does it. I’ve not had a haircut for more than 18 months, lol. Can you imagine that. Which sane woman never goes for a haircut once in a while? I guess i may be the only one.
Each time i had to wash my hair, i had to contemplate for like 2 whole hours before stepping into the bathroom and taking the shampoo and conditioner down from the high shelf. It’s so thick and curly that it’ll take a long time to get shampooed and tamed. Drying it is a totally different story altogether. And boy, was i glad when i finally chop it all off.
I have a very nice chic short crop now. Nothing boyish. I even dyed it a hot shade of red highlights. Hubby got the shock of his life when he came to pick me up from the salon. He was not expecting a total transformation at all. He was really pleased with what my stylist had done, lol. Gordon was indifferent to my new hairstyle and smiled sheepishly when he saw his new mom.
Too bad Malcolm didnt think so and wailed when i entered the car. He wants his Mam back, LOLZ. Took him a couple of days before he finally accepted the fact that i’m indeed the same Mama. eee… i shudda dine this eons ago. Why did i wait till now? Dangggggg……
Ever since the day the bridal house tweezed 85% of my thick brows away for a finer version, they’ve not really grown back to how there were before. I hate to fill them in each time i have to go out. In my opinion, i can do without makeup altogether, but i do love to have a neat and well-defined pair of brows. One thing i hate running out of is my eyebrow liner. And they tend to disappear or finish at the wrong time. And i’ll go mad if the shade i buy is out of stock and i have to go to all corners of the city to buy one.
I’ve heard of people going for brow embroidery. Gone are the days of heavily tattooed brows that turns into an ugly shade of blue, blehhhh. They claim that brow embroidery has a more natural look. But is the process painful? Oh, screw the pain. I have a high level of tolerance for pain. I’ve been through 4 operations, what a little pain on the brows, huh. Nothing compares to what i underwent for major surgery. Like they say, no pain no gain, lol. So, should i go try it out?
I took a good look at my feet and i have to agree that it’s desperately in need of a good pedicure session. I’ve not had one in eons. Simply no time. Oh yes, i do have a home footspa unit. Just that i havent gotten round to using it. Time i go stock up on some nice beauty items and give my feet a nice warm therapeutic soak.
Milk and lavender will work wonders with for my feet after a good scrub with brown sugar. I need to buff the toenails too. Have to remember to get them from Watson’s on my next trip to Parkson. What a pair of nice feet without polish. Better get a few bottles too whilst at it. Geee…. so much to buy. That’s how long i’ve neglected them…. sigh….
If you are a fulltime breastfeeding mum, i can tell you the thing most missed for a vainpot like me is a good bra. And hey, i dont mean a maternity bra, wokay. I meant a really sexy little number that your hubby cant wait to yank off you to check out what’s beneath. Ya ya ya, if he’s gonna yank it off, why bother wearing it in the first place, right. BUT YOU ARE SO WRONG!!!! Now go ask yourself this, since your wedding night, how long has it been since you last seduced him.
Pic taken from here.
Dont tell me you are the kind that wait till the kids have gone to bed, turn the damn lights off, grope in the dark and get down to business type. No foreplay, nothing. NO??? HOW BORING!!!!!!!!!! Then dont go blame yourself if he goes look for sexcitement elsewhere, LOLZ!!! Now, I’m so dying to lay my land my hands on this and then go tell him to keep his hand off me!!! Yes, i love nudes….. they’re far sexier….iLIKE!!!!!!! And yes, get the Panties too!!! Dont wait till you’re 60 to seduce him, too late!!!
